Cookies we set ourselves

A first-party cookie that remembers your choice about cookies and advertising, so the notice doesn't appear on every page. It is kept for six months, then you are asked again. It contains your choice only, not your name or email address.

Admin session cookie

A session cookie is set only when the site operator logs in to the administration area. Regular visitors never receive it. It expires when the session ends.

Advertising cookies from Google

Content pages show ads delivered by Google AdSense. The home page does not show ads. Google may set or read cookies and similar identifiers to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure performance and prevent fraud, and – where permitted – to personalize ads based on your interests.

• In the EU/EEA, a Google-certified consent platform based on the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF v2.2) asks for your choice first. Accepting and rejecting are equally easy. Google advertising cookies are only used according to your choice. If you reject, Google may still show non-personalized or limited ads, which rely on fewer data.
• In the US, a simple notice informs you about cookies and advertising. You can opt out of personalized ads in Google's ad settings and block cookies in your browser.

The consent platform may also store the standardized TCF consent signal in your browser so that Google and other participating ad vendors can respect your choice.

Analytics

No analytics or other tracking cookies are used unless the operator adds an analytics tool. In that case it will be listed here and, where required, only used with your consent.

How to change your choice

1. Use the privacy or cookie settings link on the site, where shown, to reopen the consent options.
2. Or delete the consent cookie for this site in your browser settings; you will be asked again on your next visit.
3. You can also block third-party cookies altogether in most browsers. The site will still work; ads may be less relevant.
