Bosch ovens watch every key and touch field on the control panel. If one of them reports being pressed for much longer than any normal touch, the electronics assume a stuck key and show E011 to avoid unintended operation. On touch-control models the trigger is usually moisture, grease or an object on the glass that the capacitive fields read as a finger. On models with mechanical push buttons it's more often a key jammed by dirt. Only if cleaning and drying don't help is the control module itself at fault.

Fix it step by step
Switch off and dry the panel
Turn the oven off and wipe the whole control panel with a dry microfiber cloth, especially the edges of the touch fields. Water droplets and cleaner film are the most common trigger.
Remove anything touching the panel
Make sure no towel, oven mitt or utensil is resting against the controls. On some wall-oven installations a cabinet door or trim can press on a key.
Degrease the touch fields
Wipe with a cloth barely dampened with mild dish soap, then dry immediately. Avoid oven cleaner and abrasive pads on the control glass.
Let trapped moisture evaporate
If the code came after steam cooking or cleaning, leave the oven off with the door open for one to two hours in a ventilated room. Condensation behind the panel often clears on its own.
Cut the power briefly
Switch off the oven's circuit breaker for about two minutes, then back on. Reset the clock if asked. A code that stays away was caused by a temporary contact.
Test each key
Press each key or touch field one at a time. If one reacts on its own, sticks or feels different from the others, note it for the technician – it points to the control module.

When to call a technician
