Oven / Range Error Codes: All Brands
Oven and range error codes most often involve the temperature sensor, the door lock used during self-cleaning, a stuck control panel key or the electronic control board. A self-clean door lock code frequently clears once the oven has cooled completely and power has been cut at the breaker for a few minutes. Ovens run on 240-volt circuits and gas ranges add a gas supply, so replacing elements, igniters or boards is best left to a technician.
