F55 means the oven has been running for longer than Miele allows for the selected mode, so the safety shut-off turned the heating off. It's a protective feature, not a fault: Miele's own instruction is to turn the oven off and back on, after which it's immediately ready for a new cooking program. The time limit depends on the mode – broil modes are cut off sooner than regular baking modes. Newer Miele ovens with a text display show 'Maximum operating duration reached' instead of the number. If you really need a very long hold, for example on a religious holiday, the Sabbath program on equipped US models is designed for that and keeps temperature for up to 72 hours.
