Washing Machine Error Codes: All Brands

Washing machine codes most often relate to draining, filling, the door lock or an unbalanced load, and less often to the motor or control board. Many front-loaders have a drain pump filter behind a small panel at the bottom front – unplug the washer and have towels and a shallow pan ready before opening it, because water will come out. Look up the code for your exact brand, since the same letters and numbers differ between manufacturers.
