Hybrid / EV Trouble Codes: List & Fixes

These codes (mainly P0Axx and P0Bxx) come from the hybrid or electric drive: the high-voltage battery and its cooling, cell balance, inverter and motor-generators, and insulation monitoring. High-voltage parts, usually marked by orange cables, can be lethal and must only be handled by trained technicians with the right equipment. What you can safely do is note the codes and warning messages, check the 12-volt battery and keep the battery cooling air intake clear where the owner's manual shows it.
