Leaking water: Codes, Causes & Fixes
Water under a dishwasher or washer usually comes from a door seal or gasket, a loose hose connection, a leaking drain pump filter cap or too many suds from the wrong detergent. Many dishwashers have a leak sensor in the base tray that shows a code and pumps out water until the tray dries. First turn off the power at the plug or breaker and shut the water supply – water and electricity together are dangerous – then dry the area and look for the source.
