Not spinning: Codes, Causes & Fixes
A washer that won't spin is most often protecting itself: an unbalanced load, such as a single heavy item or a tangled bundle, or water that hasn't drained stops the spin cycle. Redistribute the laundry, add a few similar items and run a drain-and-spin cycle; if water remains, clean the drain pump filter first. Persistent faults can come from a worn drive belt, motor brushes, the speed sensor (tachometer) or the door lock.
