Appliance Error Codes by Type & Brand

Appliance error codes are the manufacturer's way of telling you what the control board detected – a drain that is too slow, water that doesn't heat, a door that won't lock. The same code can mean something completely different on another brand, so choose your appliance type and brand first. Each page covers the likely causes, safe checks you can do yourself, how to reset the code and when it is time to call a technician.
